- Labour: The list of people they need to throw down a well before I’ll have any respect for them at a national level is towering. Starters for ten: Peter Mandleson, Ed Balls, Jack Straw, Tessa Jowell. At local level, however, they are the least worst
- Lib Dems: Dearie me, what a mess
- Tories: Blog post about my deeply-entrenched dislike for the Tory party, and growing up with ‘political baggage’ coming up when I get around to it
- Greens: We don’t have a candidate, unfortunately
- BNP: Ditto, fortunately
- UKIP: If you even need to ask why not, we are really, really not going to be pals. Pretty big around here, unfortunately
- The two-blokes-on-a-bicycle socialist party: None around here, and they may as well promise everyone free Ecstacy and a biscuit for all the chance they’ll get to deliver
